So I finally got to build my new system yesterday,

Specs

-7800x3d

-gigabyte b650 aorus elite ax
-XFX 310 RX 7900XTX

-Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 (2x16) 6000mhz 30cl

-Cosair RM1000e

-Lian li sl120 uni inf x 8

all was well, system turned on 2/8 fans didn’t turn on but I’m assuming that’s to do with L connect software not being installed yet… not too bothered about this

System posted with an American Megatrends screen saying the following…

Press <DEL> to enter setup.

New CPU installed, fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTM/PSP NV structure changed. Press Y to reset fTPM, if you have BitLocker or encryption enabled, the system will not boot without a recovery key.

Press N to keep previous TPM record and continue system boot, fTPM will NOT enable in new CPU, you can swap back to the old CPU to recover TPM related

I miss clicked “Y” which apparently according to other sources I should’ve clicked anyway…

But now I’m stuck in a boot loop,

When it turns on it reaches the gigabyte logo and then reboots but the fans and etc stay on.. And it’s just an endless cycle, I am able to enter the bios when the gigabyte logo appears and when I do the system doesn’t reboot but as soon as I exit the bios it will go back into a boot loop

any ideas?

Do you have the Windows installation media on a USB drive? If so, can you manually select that device to boot from or is the system shutting down/restarting too quickly?
Yes I do have the usb media tool

This is currently the only boot sequence
UEFI: VendorCoProductCode 2.00,
Partition 1

I’m assuming this is the windows usb media tool

It used to give me my m.2 drives as an option but now it’s only this.

I made sure it was selected as the boot sequence then saved and exited and it just goes back to a boot loop…

Should I be doing it another way ? Sorry not mega experienced

Yes, that is the USB drive. Is the USB drive plugged into a front or rear panel port? If front, move to the back.

When you access the BIOS, does is see the m.2 drives?

There should be an option (like pressing F10 or F12) to allow you to manually select the boot device, after you power your system on. That will allow you to manually select the USB drive to start the install process.

The usb is plugged into the back

The m.2 drives are coming up in the bios under the m.2 section , but not as a boot sequence option anymore

And f10 is “save and exit” but I can’t see any option to manually select the boot device as of yet. I can go into the boot sequence section and make sure the one I want is selected if that’s what you mean ?

Sure, you can update the BIOS. Another thing to try is to remove the GPU and use the on-board video for now (7000-series CPUs have integrated video).

Just use BIOS default settings. Don't try to enable the XMP profile for the memory.
Okay will give these a go, Thank you!

Yeah I decided to leave the XMP/EXPO for now anyways and go back to change it later on once everything is solved
