[SOLVED] switching off PSU in sleep mode

I acidentally switched off PSU while computer was in sleep mode so I can clean up my system fans etc..
Ive forgot that comp was in sleep mode usually I turn it off

Can it do any harm to a computer?

Iam using w10pro
gtx 1080ti
i7 4790k
16gb tridentx 2400mhz dd3 ram
maximus VII hero
gts v8 cooler
ssd kingston 120gb
samsung evo 860 500gb

It certainly CAN cause harm. But in sleep mode - damage is usually less likely. Your potentially more likely to encounter file corruption as in effect, everything would be held on your RAM.
Only way to find out is to power it on - if all is fine, then you're good.

Likelihood is your fine. But obviously it's not recommended to switch off power whilst the PC is on in any state.

Ive turned on my computer after cleaning everything
and it runs fine like it was,this was my first time doing that thats why Ive asked ,
it just get back from sleep mode when i turn it on again (switching PSU back on) then i remembered it was in sleep mode
