Question System freezing after some idle time.

Well this happened on one day random...i left some stuff to download 😜 and left the pc like that...half an hour later , my PCs frozen😱...black screen and cursor only.No response to num lock buttons or even the power button.I thought it was a one time thing but now it happens every time....😨
Any suggestion on this matter???(besides resetting the O.S..)
