IDK what happened with my card. It worked for a bit on my B75 and i3. Then I gutted the case and put in the Z77 and 3570K internals, it posted, then all the sudden nothing. I tried the card in both machines after that and nothing. Tried two different cards in both machines and both worked. I'm working on an Advanced RMA with EVGA right now. It was just the vanilla EVGA GTX 750 ti. I don't typically buy into the Superclocked or FTW, etc. on these cards. The plain-jane vanilla version will do just fine for me. In fact I usually have better luck with overclocking as well.

Here are some pics of the new internals.

(you can see me running Valley with the 750 ti in the background)

I'm not sure if it's something I did, or if it was just a lemon. I don't believe I mishandled it in anyway. I've had these hands on several components and never done anything harmful without noticing it happening. We'll see what EVGA says.

meanwhile.. Me: Hello this is PcOptions how can I help you?
customer: Hello my wireless isnt working.
Me: Alright could I please get your router model.
customer: Whats a router?
Me: Its a little box with antennas plugged into your modem.
customer: Umm we don't have either of those, we bought a laptop from you guys and we asked if it had wireless and your sales rep said yes but were not getting any.

That has to be my favorite mouse of all time. Still have one "new"(it was out to test) in box. My girlfriend has the other one.

While I currently have a G9(held up well so far if I forget about the fact that one grip lost most of its rubber coating), The MX518 handled the cloth mousepad I had perfectly while the G9 would mis-track on that surface.

Now I have no mousepad.

My girl got me a Razer Death Adder 2013 for XMAS, so I switched them out. I have the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 keyboard so they look great together. The MX518 is on my other PC now.

Update:

Changed to CPU cooler fan to one of my extra FQ121's. The stock slim one was a bit loud. Also had to change the top 180mm stock fan to a 120mm fan to fit this GTX 760 I just got at Best Buy via pricematch haggling, lol.

LMAO

That is VERY nice.

That new fan, how is it? bearing type? PWM? SilverStone fans are always on for a good price.

I also see you got a very long SATA cable for the optical drive. I ordered a 1 foot one I think and got something like that.

@ mathieub. Yup that is how many people think. Wireless means free internet everywhere no?

On another topic.

I did some slight work in my main system.

-Swapped out the AP15. for the stock Zalman fan because it is PWM(let the video card control it)
-Rotated the all in one cooler on the video card because it is quieter that way(and yes, I know for those the rad should be above the pump. had no choice).
-Using an NF P14 fan as push, but mostly just to keep air moving in the VRM area.
-Used a 70mm gelid fan for the video card VRM cooler area(Athlon XP cooler). Lets hope it lasts longer than the one I killed in my media center
-Removed the intake fan on the side of the case because it was not needed and was always in the way.

I have a PWM to Voltage converter on a breadboard(tried several designs from around the web, some worked well others just sucked), but am wondering if buying one from the guy who came up with the better design. My parts are all scavenged(transistors from an old phone and PA system anyone. resistors and diodes from a drill charger, caps from all kinds of things) from old stuff and I have no decent variable resistor so I have to set it ONCE and if I swap the fan the speed curve changes. So a fully ready to go solution would be nicer(and to get good deals on the parts, you need to order in bulk).

Big image so its going to be a link.

It's Silverstones new PWM , the FQ121. I have a half dozen from my last build. Wonderful fans. I use a FN121-P as the top intake because the stock 180mm and the GPU had a clearance issue.

The SATA is way too long. It's one of those special ones for a slim optical. I might replace it but it tucks away easy enough.

Azz, not to belittle your system by any means, but I would think that dual 780ti's would score higher. With my dual 780 setup, I was able to hit 4630, but I suppose this could be my 4770 vs your 2500k.

yep and these cards are at stock. 2 290x in crossfire hit around 45-4600. I have nto overclocked these things yet and im only running on an older mobo. P67 so 2.0 vs 3.0 pcie and i7 cpu's tend to handle high end sli better by about 5% than i5's do. Having said that, a overclocked 780 isnt that much slower than a 780ti. When set with a hefty OC a 780 can perform just as good as a 780ti.

stickg1, I had space in my SG05 to stash the extra cable too(it is all in the side channel at the top), was just wondering if you ordered a 1 foot and got all that.

Your case has just that much more room to work with. You could even fit a SATA to Slimline adapter without issue.

Note the 5v fan plug at the top, that powers the dvd drive because I needed to minimize the cable clutter.

So I was thinking of ordering the phantek ph-tc14pe for my current cpu then carrying it over to my cew mobo cpu when devils canyon drops. However im disappointed upon further investigation on most motherboards the cooler blocks the top pci 1x slot that my sound card uses and since im running sli most mobo's aren't going to have the space for my 2 gpus sound card and that big cooler.

You're talking about the little black 1x slot right? The only 2 coolers I was really interest in was the h100i and then the tc14pe. Now if I got a mobo that supported 3 or 4 way sli I could just space card 1 and 2 farther apart opening up another 1x slot to put my sound blaster z in.

My board is mATX so the top slot was x16.

This image from Tom's shows about how close the cooler was for me. The NH D14 and tc14pe are similar style/size.

More to the point, it was this close(had to bend the fan clips).

As long as the board has the space(and enough actual X16/8[many boards do 8 + 8 for xfire/sli] slots), you should be able to leave the top slot empty if needed
