You can't. Safe mode and the BIOS are two indirectly related things. In order to access safe mode you have to wait for the Windows startup screen to appear then you hit the F8 key to enter a screen where it gives you a variety of Windows boot options. Then select "Safe Mode Command Prompt" and you can enter safe mode that way.

boot the system with JUST the DVI screen connected and get into windows(I know you can not see, but you may hear), hit START + P and hit enter(normally this tells the system to use one screen).

Failing that, in windows disconnect and reconnect the screen. on newer versions if Windows this normally will make the screen primary.

Good to see a fan for the VRMs

A bent 90 degree piece of strapping may allow you to bolt it to the rad close to the heatsinks on the mosfets if you wish to try that.

I setup something similar in 2 systems(one was just on the back fan and the other on a radiator.).

Your system seems to have LOTS of airflow so it may not even matter.

That's a good idea. The machine is used for mining... all the temps seemed good software wise until I touched the VRM heatsink and it was hot!! Enough to burn my finger... So I added to fan and all is well now. And yes, lots of airflow (open air) and pretty annoying because it's a dust magnet.

I'd like to see in which part of your house its located. Seems like a trophy up there :) and its perfect!

Oh yeah specs?

FX-8150 @ 4.5GHz (does 5.1GHz easily but the board has horrible vDroop)
8GB Patriot Sector '5'
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 Revision 1.2
H60
Antec HCG 620 (Seasonic)
2 XFX DD 7870GHz
cheapo DVD drive
500GB Seagate Barricuda
Antec Lanboy Air Red
Steel Series Merc Stealth
Gigabyte Thor

Added the 7870's today... didn't know how well the molex to 6pin peg was going to work out and after I installed the drivers I was getting artifacting... performed some troubleshooting and re-installed drivers a few times and the problem dissapeared. Despite the myriad of bad reviews on Newegg about these cards running hot they actually stay cool under load. 70°c - 75°c and they are surprisingly quiet.

The pic. is in my livingroom but the machine is actually at my mothers (she doesn't pay electric). I actually had it up there because my children like to play tug-o-war with wires :). Kids will be kids!

Yeah open air... it works but it gets dusty. Personally, I can't stand the led's... needless to say, it does what it's supposed to do and doesn't go up in a puff of smoke.

One thing about the Lanboy is that it's extremely easy to tug around. and customizable although the "air" mounts are a bit weird. I guess if I did want to water cool, there's plenty of places to radiators.
