I can usually start bf4 and when I reach 99% usage I get some whine. Much as I play though it should wear itself out

Yeah i have whine by the airship....actually, Because VSYNC is off, I have coil whine everywhere. Do i use vsync when I leave it over night? Also, What are those two green lights? There are 6 of em' and sometimes only one is lit up....

Is there any way you could RMA the card, I skipped about 2 pages of posts, so it may be that you have already answered this. I know you are on a new build, it should be just fine, but if you are getting coil whine you can RMA the card and get a new one, and pray for no whine.

The problem with a RMA, as I understand it, is high shipping costs and lengthy delivery times. It would be one thing if he had a spare card to use during the RMA, but without one, his rig will sit idle (or he'll be limited to the Intel IGP).
If I had to take a wild guess about those LEDs, I'd say that each one represents a power phase; the number of LEDs that are on tell you how many phases are in use (and how busy your card is).

Mirakledba, You keep asking over and over about vsync. do whatever makes it whine and let it sit like that.

I make not promise it will remove it or not, but it is worth a shot. my 4870 NEVER stopped(years of gaming should have been enough), but it was just the luck of the draw.

I just got some Razer Megalodon's today which are USB only and my pc finds it in other devices but my ASUS Realtek Audio Device Manager doesnt recognize it as a Audio device since its not in an Audio Jack also its not recognized as a Megalodon but a SM Bus Controller

Ok its been 9 hours and I hope the whine is gone....I put it where the FPS was 100 cause that is where it whined.

lutfij, We did check out chairs in home centre....we were gonna get a nice one for 395 fo rme and 495 for my bro but they only had his on display and none in stock and he dindt want the display one so that made me not get it 🙁 And that wood one...doesnt look comfy, why do you suggest it?
