Bigger question: why the hell do they comment? do they actually think anybody wanting this game & reading comments cares at all about their lack of interest... ??? Loved 1st one, Played beta & was fun even if a little dated which I know is for all the old computers out there. More in2 single player & story so keen 2 try that, In Oz but too broke right now so skipped the 12 launch.

I showed up at 9 pm for the midnight opening. Getting there early got me the Collectors Edition (4th in line, only 9 copies in store). They were giving away free headset/mikes to the first 20 people as well. Played the first single player mission, and really enjoyed it. I like the addition of difficulty, and the registration on Battle Net took no time at all.

Already downloaded the digital copy 2 days ago.

Was able to install it last night and the game connected to battle.net and downloaded a 40MB patch. Now all I need is to wait for the key to activate it. C'mon 10:00 AM PDT can't come fast enough...

Boycotting it due to DRM, no LAN & preventing 3rd party tournaments (like Kespa).
Still severely pissed off as I was very keen before the above issues were announced.

Nope, will not be playing Starcraft II in the near future, probably pick up a copy a couple of years from now on a bargain shelf just for the single player game, could not be bothered training up my APM just to have a chance online!

I am a bit disappointed with the graphics....no anti aliasing? seriously?
An CCC options do not work for some reason.

admittedly I'll probably be picking starcraft 2 up soon, loved the first one, the only problem I have with it now is that other rts franchises are kinda trying to emulate it(I'm lookin at you supreme commander) and losing what made them different from... well starcraft.
