hi, i posted this question a couple months back but then got really busy with work so i wasn't able to follow up on it and it eventually disappeared in the depths of the forum. I still have the same problem so I'm back again trying to find help with it.
Once every other day i'll go to turn on my pc as usual and it seems to boot normally but then i get a screen that says "the system has POSTed in safe mode." after which i'm sent into the BIOS and have to boot windows from there.
I haven't made any changes to the BIOS since i got my pc back from the IT shop in december (i had my mainboard replaced) and i never force shutdown when i turn it off at night. I contacted the IT shop and they told me to try reinstalling Windows which I did but it didn't help. I'm kinda anxious about contacting them again since I don't have a car and my tower is quite heavy which would make transportation a problem.
Any help is appreciated!
