My money is on Point Man from F.E.A.R. and F.E.A.R. 3. He has fought against cloned super soldiers, mechanized war machines, ghost, demons and other freakish nightmares in an effort to save the world from his brother and his mothers twisted schemes.

Julian from Trailer Park Boys, the man always has a plan, the balance of a cougar, and has been known across the nation as the man who never spills his drink.

The ultimate survivor?

The fax machine. Or, facsimile if you will.

This piece of shit technology is older than Jesus. It's still just as irritating as the day it was invented, and the technology never improved. It uses outdated infrastructure that nobody relies on anymore, to send paper copies of text messages to peoples' grandmothers who have been born and died in the amount of time it takes to send a fax. They are relentless destructors of the environment, requiring you to attach a cover page saying how long the document is that you're sending, and the cover page might even be longer than it.

The astonishing length of time that this garbage has been around is surpassed only by the time it took me to write this post. Perhaps in the distant future superintelligent robots will send fax messages to each other to laugh about it.

LONG LIVE THE FAX MACHINE.

William Rankin, this guy ejected from a plane at 40,000 ft which began his 40 minute saga started wtih instant frostbite and blood literally exploding out of his eyes and nose, and it only got worse from there
I also don't think anyone else in history has had to say the sentence "It was raining so hard that I had to close my mouth so I wouldn't drown"

The ultimate survivor would have to be Doom guy. He's been to hell and back and survived to tell the story.

I'll have to go with Armando Munoz (also known as the X-Man Darwin). He can instantaneously adapt to anything that will bring him harm. He's survived attacks from Hela, The Hulk, and other extremely powerful entities. This is one tough dude to take out.

This will be their weakness that will allow the remnants of humanity to rise up and destroy their evil robot overlords!

I'm going to have to agree with all those saying Ripley. I mean how many people are willing to risk excruciating Alien death to save their cat? Next up would be the rebooted Lara Croft, there's quite a human element of desperation in the new titles that make her seem much more relatable.

I can think of a lot, but I just got done watching an episode of The Expanse, and I have to say Drummer. She was held hostage by some terrorists who then gut-shot her, then the good guys cut off oxygen to the control room she was being held in, so everyone passed out, and when she woke up and was being escorted to the infirmary, she grabs a guy's gun, shoots the two terrorist leaders in the head, and proceeds to walk herself to the infirmary while holding her gut wound closed. Now that's bad-ass :)

The ultimate survivor is Kurt Russell as RJ MacReady in "The Thing". After almost everyone becomes infected, he kills the infected, blows up a lot of stuff, burns down the remainder of the camp and still manages to survive, seriously bad ass.

I was going to write a MMA fighter with a good record, but then that's kind of too general, so I'll say Connor McGregor, cause he'll manhandle just about anyone his size and won't quit a fight.

For those of you who wrote John McClane, you must be my age! Tough as old leather he was and probably still is.
Newt is another answer that can't be from a millennial - she was the opposite of monster bad ass, like a cute little scared girl kind of bad ass...
Sterling Archer - hahahaha - well true that, he must've also survived just about any and all STD's known or not yet known to mankind! That and vindictive vicious girls and of course going camping without silky smooth toilet paper. He's like the ultimate mama's boy and playboy and somehow always seems to manage and survive, more out of luck or charm than any real survival skills.

Rico Rodriquez from the Just Cause franchise i believe. He is the baddest since he is able to take out entire base just by himself. we are talking about a huge world and you are supposed to capture countless villages, cities or military bases all by yourself!
