Also every xbox360 game is running at a minimum of 720p/1080i 2xAA and 60fps, microsoft require it.

Yeah i'm glad to say i'm HDTV ready😀 (1280/768) i can't access that page since i'm not registered.

I feel sorry for people with standard TV's and the next gen consoles, they won't see the eye-candy graphics.

BTW that price is US, but since i'm a gamer, refresh rate is a huge concern, so i chose carefully, and went with one with refresh rate of 11ms.

I've pretty much rolled my eyes and said whatever about most consoles and console games. Last console I owned was a Sega Genesis and sega CD that I sunk a ship load of money into, buying maybe 30-40 games at up to $70 a pop (Lunar). Anyway, I just wanted to say, this thing has my curiosity up and could be the first console to really impress me. The time I have spent on Playstation, Gamecube and XBox, really has felt lame compare to PCgaming IMO. Sports/racing were good, but that's about it. But I never got used to them either. But Xbox360 - All that hardware goodnees for the price of a med-high end Video card. wow.

It's not gonna kill PC gaming. Also, backwards compatibility is questionable at best because of the different vendors- I don't see how they'll make it work.

Yeah just 1 other point i wanted to make about this thread, consoles never will destroy pc gaming, unless they adopt keyboard and mouse(even then they still don't have a chance😀), because there are a lot of RTS fans out there, i'm one of them, and it's impossible to play strategy games with a controller.
