lol, of course i will have them use my name....

How many frames are the average files? the first two i did were 500 and this one is 2500.

__________________________________________

The # of frames varies a lot. It doesn't have much to do with points either. The 957s, which I just got stuck with, are 5000 frames but only 48 points. I like the 1477s. They are 250 frames, but 364 points.
You can get a lot of info @ <A HREF="http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html" target="_new">http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html</A>

i think it even varies within the different projects aswell then, because i'm working on a p1477 atm and it has 125 frames, not 250

either that or they dont update the projects page that often

ok i tried reading all that... slv_ those were great, thanks for the slogans.

i have a Q: under display,
Protein:
what is this about? draw rate and visualization type?

can someone explain this?

but I'm prepared to be depressed 🙁
but hey!! today I see not only, <b>that I have made it into the restrictive <A HREF="http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/individual_list.php?s=&srt=1&p=5" target="_new"> club of red coloured folders</A></b>, but also that <b>you are currently ranked 750 worldwide!!</b>
so let's celebrate!! cheers!

It has been 2 months since my last 600 pointer. And I have got only one 300+ WU in last 1.5 month

pickxx,

i think i figure out the confusion here.

the display says xxx/2500 for instance. you'll notice that it updates every 25/2500

that being the 100 frames.

Completed 25000 out of 2500000 steps = 1 frame

New slogan :)

"Forgive me, Father, for it has been 2 months since my last 600 pointer."
"My son, you are forgiven, but please refrain from not folding in the future."

hehehe

Yesterday was a great day for "me". I handed in 4 work units, and got a whopping great 204. Thats an average of 51 points per. I really hate the 200s, the 700s and the 1200s series folds.
And I was hoping to get to 100k before Stefan passed "me"

yeah, 200/700/1200s are really annoying

well, I can see 2 positive things for you:
a)this is definitly a short term target (since its 500 for you and 4000 for me)
b)you're definitly going to make it!
cheers!

Nice job there Stefan, keep up the folding! You passed me and now your after "me" LOL. BTW Endyen, just love the way you nipped in ahead of Stefan for 100,000.. Yeah "me"

See you guys at 100,000

It's automatic, and yes you are there, still on the second page. You'll get to the first page quickly. <A HREF="http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=40051&p=2" target="_new">http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/user_list.php?s=&t=40051&p=2</A>

Congrats. I'll plead the 5th for a while (till someone takes that away from "me") I really like my folding name.
Dont look now though, we have 2 teams dressed in red behind us.

<A HREF="http://www.teamthgc.blogdns.org/benchmarks.htm" target="_new">http://www.teamthgc.blogdns.org/benchmarks.htm</A>

First off, are you running the console version? If so, what you want to do is open a command prompt window, go to your F@H directory, and type in the following "fah502-console -verbosity 9" minus the quotes.

You will get lots of other info, but if you scroll through the windows, somewhere there should be a benchmark score.

Then, just hit ctrl-c to cancel, otherwise it tries to run 2 instances on your computer.

BTW, glad you find the site (somewhat) useful

Systems Running F@H:
AMD: [A64 3200+] [XP2800+ x2] [XP2400+]
Intel: [P4 2.8 x4] [P4 2.0] [P4 1.8] [P4 1.7] [P4 1.6 x2] [P4 1.4M] [Xeon 1.0] [Cel 1.0] [P3 ??]

re cdpage:
[edit]
do i need to run it while im not folding?
<b>YES!</b> Depending on your hardware, you probably can't run multiple instances; anyway it's only a good benchmark, if your system is idling otherwise, which it is not, if another instance of the program is running!![/edit]
it's not necessary to download the console-version! just do, as Sparky said: open command-prompt, go to F@H-Dir, type: "<b>winFAH -verbosity 9</b>" (or alternatively "winFAH -h" if you want to see all the command-line-options!) -- that's it! check the <b>"FAHlog.txt"-File</b> in the F@H-Dir. Somewhere near the bottom (if you do it right after you started it) should be your benchmark-score. (alternativly, search for "score") -- you can keep it running that way, it just increases the logfile-size.
re jihiggs:
hey, why did you stop?
re Sparky:
<b>Congrats!</b>
To you and your better half!
cheers!
