Question Three 120mm or two 140mm? And what are the best case fans?

So after looking around, thinking and seeking opinions from a member on this site, I've decided that instead of buying a mostly prebuilt computer and adding parts myself, it would be immensely cheaper and probably smarter if I bought everything seperately and put my new computer together myself.

I have experience with installing pretty much everything I'll have too, since I've done it before. But one thing I'm unsure about is case fanss. I'm going to be getting a Lian Li Lancool II Mesh case, and it only just occured to me that buying this from here, the case will come without case fans (https://www.newegg.com/global/uk-en...&ranSiteID=8BacdVP0GFs-n5iCyine7lJsZeKrT1t69Q).

If I'm correct this case can fit three 120mm's or two 140mm's in the front, and the 120mm's would probably be the better option because I can fit more. Is this correct? And either way, what are good case fans, and what are good budget case fans? (I have around £300 to play around with, which I'm imagining is more than enough).

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Hi ImsominacKoyomi.

This is directly from the page you linked.

"3 x120mm ARGB intake fans pre-installed at the front"

That case comes with 3 front fans. So buy 1 exhaust at the rear and 1 exhaust at the top and you're good to go :)
Oh! Thank you, I scanned the specs but must have missed the "included" because of the brackets. Do you have any recommendations for exhausts? This is actually the first time I'm dealing with a new case.

I normally just buy Noctua or BeQuiet fan. Look at the info below and just get 1 for rear and 1 for top.

I just ordered a Lancool 2 Mesh Performance case. From what I have read and heard, the two 140mm fans that come with the Performance version are higher quality and push more air than three 120mm fans that come with the RGB version, hence the name "Performance". Also, the two 140mm fans will most likely be quieter as well (bigger fans = more airflow and quietness). I might add two 120mm Noctua Chromax Black fans over the PSU shroud and two 140 mm Noctua Chromax Black fans on top of the case as well for optimal cooling. For the Lancool 2 Performance version, there is already a 120mm fan included for the rear exhaust of the case. Also, the Performance version also has a fan control slider at the top front of the case that the RGB version doesn't have. Basically the Lancool 2 Mesh Performance version is the better cooling version without the fancy RGB lights.
