Question Too many Service Host processes

Hello,

I have been playing on my pc R6S and been having micro stutters after roughly 2 hours of gameplay that look like low fps even though my fps counter shows more than 70 when the stutters happen and they look like 20 fps.
I've been noticing tons of Service Host Processes in my task manager, Is it the cause of this random occurrence?

Specs:
CPU: intel i7 4790k
Motherboard: MSI Z97A Gaming 7
GPU: EVGA 980ti
RAM: Dominator Platinum - 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 2133MHz

what the cpu/gpu temp and usage during the stutter?
ssd or hdd?

My own perfectly running WIn10 system shows 40-50 assorted Service Host variants in task manager....

In short....I'd not worry about it, unless some of them are identified hostile by AV/anti-malware products..

My CPU temp is around 65 and GPU is around 60 during gameplay and some chrome tabs open in the background. I run my windows and game are both installed on SSDs

chrome tabs opening on their own, it would seem you have some malware issues, at a minimum...

A quick sweep with Malwarebytes ANtimalware and HItman Pro64 are a good start..

I did a Malwarebytes sweep that got a bunch of stuff.
I did not mean that the chrome tabs were opening by themselves, I meant that I had open tabs in the background like music etc, which I always kept open but they never affected anything up until recently.
