[SOLVED] Unstable GPU Usage (RX 580)

I seem to be having very unstable GPU usage when playing any games. The GPU usage would be at 90-100%, then after a second or two, the usage goes back down to 0%. The temperatures seem to be fine as they are at a stable 60-70. So when I am playing fortnite or other games, the pc will not be able to render the map fast enough, so I end up freezing for 10 seconds over and over again. But when I am benchmarking with kombuster benchmarking, the usage of the GPU seems to be fine as the usage is at a stable 90-100% the whole time.

System:
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor
RAM: RIPJAWS G.SKILL 8gb 2333mhz
PSU:Corsair CP-9020122-NA CX Series 650 Watt
MOBO: Asrock x470 master sli/ac
HDD: Western Digital 1TB SATA 3.5 Hard Drive

I think it is the ram bottlenecking my pc, but I don't know yet. I turned on XMP and everything.

You need to upgrade that ram to a 2x8gb kit at least 3000mhz. It's severely hindering performance.

But when I was benchmarking, the usage was fine, but I was thinking about getting new ram.

The benchmark isn't RAM dependent. Right now you're running slow RAM in single channel mode.

my bad, I do have dual-channel ram, I have 2x4gb. But I most likely should still get new ram
