Hi everyone here,

I need help deciding to upgrade GPU and preferably other parts that I can upgrade on my HP ProDesk 400 G3 SFF so that I can use it for gaming and working (customer support work, only Google Chrome browser-based work)
I saw this post 1650 GTX Low Profile - HP Prodesk 400 G3 SFF that discusses the maximum graphic can that can fit the PC.

My question is:
  1. I want to confirm if the GT 1030 low profile is this one >> GT 1030 Low Profile 2G or if is there any other GPU that OP means?
  2. If I were to buy and upgrade the graphic card, do I need to change the PSU? Or can that fit just like plug-and-play? Is any additional modification needed?
  3. I have added SSD to the PC and it was amazingly fast now, it currently uses 8 GB of RAM, is there anything I should add to maximize the usage of this PC?
  4. Should I upgrade the CPU?
I am planning to use this PC until I can build a gaming PC, thanks to everyone that helping me with this 😄🙏

I was able to use a GT 1030 GDDR5 with a 250w PSU a few years ago. My question is what is your PSU and how old is it?

if you plan to get a GT 1030, then be sure to get the GDDR5 version, because DDR4 version of the 1030 is bad.

comparison...

this video would also give you an idea of what games you could possibly play with your budget pc.
