Which cpu should i buy or has a better value? Im in a tight budget. I mainly play games and sometimes doing autocad and programming for school work
Ryzen 3 3100 - 114$
Ryzen 3 3300x -155$
Ryzen 5 2600 - 165$
Ryzen 5 3500 - 165$
Ryzen 5 3600 - 227$

i cannot buy zen 3 because the price in our country will be high
i will pair it with
Asrock b450m steel legend
Corsair or trident z 16gb 3200mhz
Rx 580 4gb ( i will upgrade by dec 2021)

currently using
I5 4690
H81
8gb ram 1600mhz
Rx 580 4gb
1080p 144hz monitor

Solution
3600 with a B450 Tomahawk MAX and a RAM Kit of 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16.

The 3600 is the most sold Zen 2 CPU. The B450 Tomahawk MAX is the most sold mid range board in the B450 series and the Corsair Vengeance is the most sold RAM Kit.

The b450m steel legend doesn't have really good VRM's while the Tomahawk MAX is pretty good.

Solution
Go for 3600 -it's worth the price difference if budget allows you (my second choice would be 2600).
Every B450 motherboard will do the job for 3600 (and even for 3700X). I see no point for paying more only because of "better" VRM in this case -invest the money in quality PSU instead.
