Any major upgrade is going to require a platform swap.

What is your budget and country?
What is your monitor resolution?

Here is a pretty good up grade but for a new cpu sticking to you AMD, compatible mobo RAM and GPU for gaming its a little over the budget but hope fully u can spend that little extra for that GTX 1650

Theres a lot of ways to go about this.

I chose get a better gpu and psu. However, i also opted to swap cpu mobo and ram. The ryzen 3 is a good bit faster in games than your old cpu and it has a much better upgrade path.

I will get a better gpu and psu for now.
Your gpu is the weakest part.
Save more to get a new Ryzen platform later on.
FX-8300 is stale but still OK for 60 fps gaming for now in most games.
