i think the enigma machine is the compuer he should get, that way he can get a computer so bad, no one can under do him, i think that's what he wants. He wants to say he has the worst computer on the planet. So if you have or have had a worse computer, don't mention it, then maybe this thread will stop by page 10.

By the way mayep_necro, your friend must be more stupid than you if he will pay $50 for that unless he works at a scrap yard.

I'm hoping against hope that this, ...endless stupidity will end :| 🙁

Hi. I would like to know if my old computer can work again. I will tell the specs:

CPU: Pentium 66 MHZ
Hard disk: WD 500 mb
GFX card: Unknown
Sound card: None
Network card: Unknown

Does it can work again?

Now come on people, this is serious. I am betting his Dark Sucker is broken and he can not see where to plug the cord into.

The Dark Sucker Theory

For years, it has been believed that electric bulbs emit light, but recent information has proved otherwise. Electric bulbs don't emit light; they suck dark. Thus, we call these bulbs Dark Suckers. The Dark Sucker Theory and the existence of dark suckers prove that dark has mass and is both heavier and faster than light.

First, the basis of the Dark Sucker Theory is that electric bulbs suck dark. For example, take the Dark Sucker in the room you are in. There is much less dark right next to it than there is elsewhere. The larger the Dark Sucker, the greater its capacity to suck dark. Dark Suckers in the parking lot have a much greater capacity to suck dark than the ones in this room.

As with all thing, Dark Suckers don't last forever. Once they are full of dark, they can no longer suck. This is proven by the dark spot on a full Dark Sucker.

A candle is a primitive Dark Sucker. A new candle has an unblemished wick. You can see that after the first use, the wick turns darker, representing all the dark that has been sucked into it. If you put a pencil next to the wick of an operating candle, it will turn black. This is because it got in the way of the dark flowing into the candle. One of the disadvantages of these primitive Dark Suckers is their limited range.

There are also portable Dark Suckers. In these, the bulbs can't handle all the dark by themselves and must be aided by a Dark Storage Unit (battery). When the Dark Storage Unit is full, it must be either emptied or replaced before the portable Dark Sucker can operate again.

Dark has mass. When dark goes into a Dark Sucker, friction from the mass generates heat. Thus, it is not wise to touch an operating Dark Sucker. Candles present a special problem as the mass must travel into a solid wick instead of through clear glass. This generates a great amount of heat and, therefore, it is not wise to touch an operating candle.

Also, dark is heavier than light. If you were to swim just below the surface of a lake, you would see alot of light. If you were to slowly swim deeper and deeper, you would notice it getting darker and darker. When you get really deep, you would be in total darkness. This is because the heavier dark sinks to the bottom of the lake and the lighter light floats at the top. This is why it is called light.

Finally, we can prove that dark is faster than light. If you were to stand in a lit room in front of a closed, dark closet and slowly open the closet door, you would see the light slowly enter the closet. But since dark is so fast, you would not be able to see the dark leave the closet.

So, the next time you see an electric bulb, think of it not as a light bulb but rather remember that it is a Dark Sucker.

No they are 10$
I'm gonna overclock to max. I have installed a HSF because normaly, pentiums dont need fans. Im gonna sell it 40 - 50$.
See if you can overclock it to 6 or 8 GHz. You'll need some really good memory.

That, and the electron ionizer mentioned above.

Are you poor?

If so, get a job to occupy your time, instead of forving your stupidity on others. If you can't get a job, go back to school, i tink they have to take you and get a student loan to feed your black hole of a brain.

btw, $5 seems a pretty good investment if you get a $50 return, and if it doesn't work, you've only lost your lunch money, not your rent.

p.s you are THE stupidest person on this planet earth. I think you should get a career on t.v so everyone can get a laugh out of you. 😛

can i ask what those links are? they seem to be just a bunch of useless half true stories, which is the perfect site for mayep_necro and juans287, but not everyone else, especially me lol

Why would you keep an oil lamp for, whereas you have electricity?
Build or buy a new machine man, many people come to me with that same
question an that's my answer to them. 8)

I think the question you need to ask is what do you want it to do?

At 66mhz, you can rule out any Windows os past W/95 (maybe even 3.1).

Unless you have a fondness for old things, it would not be worth spending any money on at all (assuming you could even find anything that could work in it).

He has a new computer, he's just being an idiot and wants to sell it to his freind(which i doubt he has any) for $50. But he won't turn it on to see if it works cause he thinks he needs to buy a $5 power cord, but as we told him he COULD take the one off the computer he's using to see but NOOOOO... that'ed be TOO simple.

Instead of a power cord buy a chain for your old computer. I hear they make great boat anchors.

that will take him from the black into the red, and we can't have that.

Seriously, this guy probably lives at his mother's while he's 37 years old and has to spend his allowance wisely, unforunatly, he has now wisdom or other notable intelligence.
