Wait time between paint coats?

I'm going to paint the inside of my Coolermaster HAF 932 later this week when the weather is nicer outside and I have questions. After I'm done sanding down the inside of the case and wipe it, how many coats should I of primer should I use and how long should I wait between each coat to apply the next coat? And when I'm finished with the primer coat how long should I wait before I apply the black coat and once again how many coats and how long should I wait between each coat for the black color?

That all depends on type of primer,type of paint,ambient temperature and relative humidity. And is it in direct sunlight.
Meaning we need more info to give an approximate answer.

Its going to be in the 40's, the primer I have is Rust-Oleum ultra cover 2X for metal, Rust-Oleum Ultra Cover 2X flat black paint for metal. No it isn't going to be in direct sunlight.

I've done case mods and I've painted a HAF 932. I used Rustoleum also.

Two light coats of primer followed by two light coats of paint. I like to prime one day and paint the next day.

Check the intructions on the can. I'm positive the temperature will be too low for painting.

Make sure you remove all platic parts. The paint will eat the plastic.

Yeah I'm definitely not letting it dry for a day before the color coat, I can't just sit in my room all day without a computer gawking at my TV like it just punched my grandmother. Would a couple of hours do between the two coats?

Yes.

IMPORTANT - Check the instructions on the cans. I'm pretty sure 40F is too cold to paint. I think you need a minimum of 65F.

I read the back of the can and it said the minimum is 50F. It's going to be in the mid 40's so it shouldn't make much of a difference. When I'm done with each coat I'll bring it inside the house to let each coat dry. Hopefully the difference in temperature from the house and outside won't cause any problems for the paint.

Also, when I'm finished painting the case entirely how long should I wait to reconstruct it (all the plastic pieces and hardware) so that the paint won't get damaged and chip off? The can says dry to the touch in 20 minutes, dry to handle in an hour, and completely dry within 24 hours.

If you want to do this right, don't rush it. The difference between 40F and 50F may not seem like a big deal, but consider the difference between 33F and 31F and what it does to water.
Perhaps you should do it in a well-ventilated room inside the whole time.

Would the basement with the cellar door open work? The door being open for ventilation but being inside for the warm temperature and not having to worry about small rain drops or other elements interfering with the paint. Oh and before I forget, when I sand the inside of the case, what should I wipe it off with?

Wait the full 24 hours before assembly. It takes time for paint to cure and harden. I normally wait 72 hours.

wipe with a tack cloth. It is sticky and should pick up any loose debris.
