[SOLVED] What caused these lines to appear on my monitor?

I call them vertical lines but I'm not sure if that's the correct description. Anyway, you can see the picture to know what I'm talking about. This is a cheap VA monitor and the lines appeared in the first year of use. I suspect it either happened due to cheap design (is this what people call uneven backlight?) or maybe due to improper cleaning on my part. I have only used tissues and spray that were made specifically for cleaning displays. I have cleaned it while it was working, I'm not sure if there is anything wrong with that. This monitor is BenQ GW2260M and I am about to buy a new one. If the lines happened due to an error on my part, I'd like to know so I can avoid this happening with my new monitor.

Maybe the monitor or the GPU.

So test with other monitor or gpu, then you will know.

It's definitely the monitor.
Edit: I mean, I have tested with another display.
