[SOLVED] What CPU do i use for a secondary streaming rig?

I am thinking about buying a new rig that will do the streaming while my other pc does all the gaming, but I don't know where to start when it comes to picking out a CPU to do just the task. I am not sure if my leftover Ryzen 5 2600 can do just that because it doesn't have integrated graphics. I do not know for sure but do let me know if you have any ideas of what I should buy that isn't too over the top and is still able to do the job at a good price. I was thinking of maybe an i5 or something close to that. Thank you.

Your old 2600 will require a graphics card, but it can be any card. So a cheap used GT1030, 750ti, RX550 etc would work just fine.

I won't be able to use a PCIe lane because I want a Mini ITX MOBO that will most likely have only one lane and it needs to be populated with a capture card

I would get a mATX board for a streaming PC, they are far cheaper and the cases made from them are quite small these days.

You are completely correct, however, I have the Phanteks Enthoo 719 and I am going for a duel pc build. This case can only accommodate an ATX and Mini ITX

Gotcha. You could probably find a cheap 2400G on the used market and that would solve your GPU issue. 4 cores is enough just for a streaming PC.

You do not need to build a second PC, to stream these days.
