what does it mean

I'm making a small hardware si´te in estonian and I wonder what means TCP behind the processors name, for example 233 MHz TCP.

Where did you see that spec at? I know what TCP is but never seen it used next to Mhz rating.

One exception, If a PC has extreme IP loaded, TCP will appear after machine name indicating that the machine is running TCP for machintosh. You can connect across the internet to that machine via IP address in the chooser by selecting connect to IP.

That is the chip type packaging, go back to that website and scroll down to pictures, it will show you the diff types. TCP is one of the types

Why are people so insistant on using acronyms when they just keep giving new definitions to ones already commonly used?

It all gets so confusing.

I wonder if anyone has ever tried to make a dictionary of misc. acronyms...
