Hello, have had this monitor for a month now or two (Asus TUF VG258QM). I just noticed this weird green pixel every now and then showing up. At first I thought it was a graphics card issue because it only occasionally showed up, but upon more inspection, there is always a dimmer pixel there if you look close enough, and when I plug in my laptop to the monitor it's also there with a different cable. The Imgur link below shows what it looks like, and I'm opening up a game in the background because that's a consistent way of making the pixel glow a brighter green. I don't have a warranty because I was just hoping there wouldn't be any issues and I didn't want to pay extra because I was on a budget, but low and behold. Is there anything I can do? I still don't even know completely what it is.

Solution
You can talk the manufacturer, in 99% of countries there will be some warranty. However, a single dead/stuck sub-pixel rarely qualifies for a replacement.

You can try running the monitor through all colors, try massaging the screen in that location. These methods can occasionally unstick a pixel, but often don't work.
