Question What's a good filter material?

The front of my PC case has a ton of empty external drive bays, all of which have covers that are list vents. Then there is a vent on the top and side of my case. All of these vents are unfiltered, so I find that a decent amount of dust accumulates in my case after a fairly short period of time.

I'd like to put filters on the vents to prevent dust and debris from entering the case. When I look for case filters on Amazon, I get little squares that are designed to be attached directly to the fans, but that's not what I want. I want a sheet of material that I can customize to fit the non-standard vents on my case, without disrupting or limiting the air flow in the case.

What's a good material that I can just buy a sheet of?

Dryer sheets. Cheap, easy to work with. Great dust magnets.

As above or you can buy mesh sheets to cut to size, I used something like this a long time back and it does the job very well..
