this is old news I missed 4 years ago

THQ Nordic, who already owned the rights to Titan Quest and who released the Anniversary edition, also own the rights to the Sacred Franchise. They currently working on Titan Quest 2.

Though that is all I have its good news considering the abomination that is Sacred 3. It is a glimmer of hope that we might one day get a better take on continuing saga, or maybe just remake Sacred 2 Gold for modern PC. I mean, the old version works but its 16 years old... mods and community patches modernise it a little.

I only get 300 FPS in Sacred 2 now

I can't play it now as I forget too much of it. Happily relearn if it was remade.

I like Hack n Slash games, but can't play with the top-down or isometric perspective. I prefer a third-person view for the player.

I think some of you guys might like "Path of Exile 2" as well. Grinding Gear Games released a brand new gameplay video for its upcoming action RPG.

The video focuses on the Witch class, and we get to see some of her skills and combat abilities. Path of Exile 2 will feature a massively improved engine for graphics and physics.

Game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. Path of Exile 2 is a new standalone game, with separate game balance, systems and future expansions.

There is no ETA, but Grinding Gear Games plans to release this game in late 2024.

It was meant to be this month so its been delayed?

I could never get into POE although I did try a few times. I will give this one a try at some stage.

Sacred and Titan Quest are both 3rd person view, they same as POE since theyall took inspiration from Diablo to start with.

If you are a fan of the "2D Fighting" gaming genre, or are a nostalgic arcade veteran, then this is for you.

Else, you can keep playing Halo or COD, or whatever genre suits thy palette ! hehe :beercheers:

Nope. Actually, there was no ETA on when this game will come out to begin with, as far as I'm aware. I don't think the developers ever confirmed that the game is releasing this month. Or did they ?
Its been showing as due out in July online for a few months but that could have just been an estimate. I hadn't really looked too hard, just search results.

Did Capcom just announce a remaster for the first Dead Rising game ? Seems so. Dead Rising first came out in 2006 and now almost twenty years later we are getting a remaster.

:D

But anyway, I'm not a huge fan of this series, but we can expect some higher 3D models for all characters, better textures, and other small improvements, just my guess. Or, maybe a better LOD system and better shadows. as well as new Ambient Occlusion effects, who knows.

There is currently no ETA on when Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will come out though.

Currently got hold of these FPS titles.

If you like fast-paced, run and gun shooters, then check these out. Though, problem with some "Roguelike" games is that they are highly repetitive and you can't save your progress that often, and you may have to begin the game from the start.

So this can sometimes get frustrating for some, including myself. But regardless, some of these shooters are great for having some fun ! 🤘🙂

These two are 'boomer shooters' ! We can easily replay levels here as the game saves the progress as well !

Apart from the above I have also been playing this Warhammer FPS, BOLTGUN. Pretty much addictive gameplay. (y)

News Flash ! Ubisoft is working on multiple Assassin’s Creed Remakes.

Yeah, you read that correct. In an unsurprising move Ubisoft’s CEO, Yves Guillemot, confirmed that the developers are working on multiple remakes of older Assassin’s Creed games.

There were rumors that the French company was working on a remake of the first Assassin’s Creed game. However, we can also assume that the team will remake Assassin’s Creed 2. After all, the Ezio trilogy was greatly successful.

https://news.ubisoft.com/en-us/arti...oming-portfolio-the-future-of-assassins-creed

As Yves Guillemot said:

“Firstly, players can be excited about some remakes, which will allow us to revisit some of the games we’ve created in the past and modernize them; there are worlds in some of our older Assassin’s Creed games that are still extremely rich. Secondly, to answer your question, there will be plenty of experience variety.

The goal is to have Assassin’s Creed games come out more regularly, but not for it to be the same experience every year. There are a lot of good things to come, including Assassin’s Creed Hexe, which we’ve announced, which is going to be a very different game from Assassin’s Creed Shadows. We’re going to surprise people, I think.”
