"where" are my toolbars?

I play SWG on two machines (desktop and laptop).

I notice at least a few config settings vary between the two machines
(which would indicate a config file on each).

My character in the server/character page shows up wearing different
clothes on each (based on what each was wearing the last time I played
on that computer). Also, my toolbars are different.

The latter is particularly important to me. I would like to keep my
toolbars syched between machines. Which then begs the question, where
is the config file (if there is one)?

These are definitely local to your PC. Your PC image is cached from your
last play session. That how you can see your character before you
connect to the server. Likewise, any customizing and macros are also
local to your computer.

But I don't know where.

I just had to replace my Hard Drive and was able to save the SWG Folder from
the old one. While I'm not sure which file(s) you're looking for
specifically, the information is in the profiles folder in your SWG
directory. Each account that you log in to will have a separate folder and
in those folders are the individual settings for each character on each
server (assuming you have any) as well as some global files such as the
notepad.txt and whatever file holds your Macros. If you copy the profiles
directory to Disk (I'm not sure of size, so it may not all fit on a floppy)
you can overwrite what's on the other computer.
