which to choose ?

I am building a new system i will be using a amd athlon 64 3200+ and are torn between two PCI express graphics cards at moment Radeon x800 gt and the geforce 6600gt but my local shop who is building it for me only has these motherboards in stock :
Asus A8V
Gigabyte GA-K8NSC
Gigabyte Nforce GA-K8N
Gigabyte Nforce GA-K8NF-9
Asus A8N sli -Deluxe
Asus K8N sli

which should i get them to use or is there one i should ask them to get in for me ??
Any ideas on the graphic card i should go for as both these are in my budget range ?

Personally i like the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra....cheap easy GOOD PCIe 939 board.

Also the DFI Ultra-D or EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra

WHat price range are you looking at? a 6800GS for $200 would be great. A little more expsensive then your current choices but much more powerful.

Thanks for the reply, I have looked up your options and have decided to go for the Epox motherboard u have suggested ( £82).
With the Athlon 64 3200+ ( £112).
As you can see im in the UK so all prices are in £ sterling.

Still not sure which graphics to go for im upgrading from a Radeon 9800 and i want to see a big improvement as Call of Duty 2 is really struggling on my system!

xfx geforce 6800 gs extreme i can get for £ 180.
is there much of a difference next up to the Geforce 7800 gtx ?
There seem to be many versions of this card ranging from £200 - £ 500.
Now i am confused again in which to go for !!
