I thought i might apply with my personal 3200+ athlon xp, 9600xt, 1 GB ram (my family computer has a PCI-X slot I could have used), but I realized there are people here more needy than me.

Im living in Malaysia, and a 8800gtx card cost us around RM2000 back here which is very expensive compared to United States which is around $600 if im not mistaken. My current ATI X1600 DDR2 fails me in in most of the game when i am running 1280x1024 resolution since i bought my 19" ViewSonic 2ms monitor and i am very frustrated about it. I dont mind paying the shipment and i hope that you will be kind enough to send it to me and i can place my current graphic card to my girlfriend's pc as the graphic card she is using i borrowed from my friend. What power supply do you have pictured there? If it is not enough for the 7900GT, I'm sure one of us here can get you one.

In one of the pics I posted, you can see just at the top, it says 430W upside down. I know this is borderline with a 7900, but I only have a small hard drive, a dvd player and an old floppy drive hooked up. I don't plan to be running any SLI obviously and the rails should be up to it (I checked before posting my bid for this card). I think it will stand up to it.

I used to run a P4, 3 HDDs, 2 opticals, 5 fans, and a GF7800 off a 430W PSU with no trouble. I think the 7900s are actually a little more efficient than the 7800s, and the AMD is more efficient than a P4, so you've got a good shot. Good luck and enjoy the card.

Well, the 7900 arrived yesterday, installed it tonight. Here are a few quick benches for comparison.

I ran 3dmark05 and an older Aquamark3 (I know it's old, but don't have time to be downloading anything right now).

6600GT results:
3DMARK05:Total=3482
AQUAMark:Total=45273

7900GT results:
3DMARK05:Total=7247
AQUAMark:Total=68904

I'm thinking that is a dramatic improvement. Thanks again Pete.

hi im 19 years old with a 2month old baby i need a new card to get better pick up on his pictures. yes i know that i am 19 and gettin ready to go back to college and the only thing is that i am not rich me and my boyfriend are truly trying to find a job i worked at several different jobs but the last one let me go after 5 months because i didnt have 2 years exp. but really it was because i was 8 months pregnant getting ready to deliver soon. i would really appreciate if you would at least consider me as someone you would give it to! i hope this is real. i would take pics of my house if i could get my stupid webcam to take pics but if you would like to see it i can get it up on the webcam through my messenger that is the only way i can do it. mickeypayne13@yahoo.com or mickeypayne13@hotmail.com the hotmail is where i can pull my webcam up. thankyou.
