Hello,

I'm wondering if my Kingston A400 240GB 2.5'' SSD would work with a -very- old Toshiba Satellite L40-14F laptop (PSL4CE-006005G3). The laptop has its original storage configuration currently installed: a Fujitsu HDD model MHY2120BH inside a HDD Caddy.

The HDD is SATA rev.1 and the SSD is SATA rev.3. Would this newer interface revision be a problem?

Thanks

It should work.
Clone the hdd to the ssd and then swap the disk....see if it will boot.
