Good day everyone,
This is a strange one. I've recently purchased a (cheap) USB3-HDMI converter to use for a third monitor with my laptop.
Now, the drivers given with the device seem to work when I use the laptop just with the USB-HDMI monitor. The laptop also works with just the HDMI monitor, with the USB-HDMI disconnected.
But, when I insert my old 2nd monitor via the regular HDMI port, Windows seems to detect the third monitor for a split second, but then logs off?
The problem only seems to be happening when I run the driver program for the USB-HDMI converter, which makes me think it's a driver problem.
I've tried installing and reinstalling multiple sets of drivers, but only the ones delivered on the device seem to work.
Would anyone have a clue about what's going on here?
Thanks in advance.
