Question Windows Automatically Logs Out when Connecting my Third Monitor

Good day everyone,

This is a strange one. I've recently purchased a (cheap) USB3-HDMI converter to use for a third monitor with my laptop.
Now, the drivers given with the device seem to work when I use the laptop just with the USB-HDMI monitor. The laptop also works with just the HDMI monitor, with the USB-HDMI disconnected.

But, when I insert my old 2nd monitor via the regular HDMI port, Windows seems to detect the third monitor for a split second, but then logs off?
The problem only seems to be happening when I run the driver program for the USB-HDMI converter, which makes me think it's a driver problem.

I've tried installing and reinstalling multiple sets of drivers, but only the ones delivered on the device seem to work.

Would anyone have a clue about what's going on here?

Thanks in advance.

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard? If you have BIOS updates pending, gradually work your way to the latest version as opposed to jumping onto the latest BIOS version. You've included Windows 10 in your thread's tag, what version(not edition) of the OS are you on?

Hiya, thanks for the quick reply.

Currently on:
BIOS Version/Date Insyde F.56, 22-12-2020
SMBIOS Version 2.8
BIOS Mode UEFI

OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043

I haven't upgraded to windows 11 yet.
