Would like to get a 15" LCD soon

I have moved back with my parents and discovered that my room has some sort of EMI field that distorts all CRT monitors I try in it. But if I bring a laptop in it works just fine. So now I am hunting for a LCD monitor.

I do alot of homework and programming on the machine, but also to relax I enjoy playing all types of games, from counter strike(FPS) to strategy games and rpgs. Right now Im really into Grand Theft Auto 3.

Im sure this has been asked before, but could anyone reccomend a LCD that can handle playing games. Also I do have DVI output on my video card. Another thing I read here is that in the next month or so LCDs might go through a big change and get alot better. Should I hold out and wait, or is there a LCD out there right now that can take care of my needs.

Samung all the way : 152T or 151P or the NEC 1550M are some of the finest 15inch LCDs around and can handle ur game np.

Phillips also go a good range of quality 15" LCDs.

I use a KDS Rad 5 and play cs, I don't have any issues. Nice, cheap, thin monitor.
