Question 3-5s keyboard delay on games installed on my SSD

So i have this really weird problem where i have 3-5s keyboard delay and lag when i play games that i have on my SSD. The games that i have on my SSD are CS:GO, Apex legends and recently assasins creed unity (and after playing AC:U i learned that this only happens with the games on my SSD).

I have no idea what could be the cause of this and i have tried: Switching USB ports, reinstalling keyboard drivers, reinstalling the games, running the games in windowed.

Im thinking it could have something to do with my CPU, but im not sure

Motherboard: ASUS Z170-A
CPU: i5-6600K 3.5GHz
GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SC
RAM: 16GB DDR4
SSD: Samsung 250GB

Is your keyboard wireless or tethered? Have you tried typing a simple text file on your desktop to see if the same 3-5 second lag occurs as well or is it only just gaming? Have you checked GPU temps and CPU temps to make sure thermal temps aren't throttling anything during gaming? Have you tried connecting another keyboard if you do have one laying around to make sure it's not the keyboard itself? Lots of tests you can do, Good luck!

Check thermals and do as he said especally if it is hooked up wirelessly
