Following a notification from CAM telling me a component of my PC was over the recommended limit, I expected to see my GPU running at 83° but instead found it to be my CPU.

I'm running an i7 4790K Devils canyon at stock clock with a H100i GTX. I'm idling at around 32° and when stressed, it runs up to almost 87°. I'm sure this is a recent thing and I recently reinstalled windows clearing all drivers. I downloaded corsair link from the h100i's support page but I haven't seen any change. Any ideas?

In addition to this, do you think this throttling can be to blame for my in game stutters that look like packet loss issues?

thanks

Temps seem okay. Are you overclocking anything (CPU, GPU, memory)? When stressing the CPU, are your fans picking up speed?

Temps are only slightly better because I changed the fan pattern in the BIOS to basically hit 100% when my cpu reaches anywhere near 40°, and no mate - everything is stock, I took the it out of XMP mode too and kept the CPU's boost standard
