Hello everyone. This is my first post and I am a rookie when it comes to pc building. I built this PC close to 3 years ago now and after 7 hours that day and finally getting everything figured out and working, I left it be, only spraying it with some compressed air every now and then. Then, a couple days ago, after downloading Corsair ICUE to sync up all my fans, I noticed it was only recognizing the fans that were plugged into the Corsair USB hub. For some reason, I had set up to have all 6 fans plugged into the Corsair RGB hub via the fan port. but only 3 of those fans were plugged into their respective RGB ports. The other 3 were plugged into the RGB hub that were screwed onto the back of the case that came with it. So I decided that was probably my issue, and to plug everything into the same RGB hub. The one that came with the case had 3 fan connectors and 3 RGB connectors, while the one that came with either the extra fan I bought or the AIO, had 6 of each connector. And that was perfect for me, since I had 6 fans including the AIO (3 fans that came with the case, 1 extra that I put in, also Corsair, and 2 on the AIO). However, after plugging everything into the 6 connector each Hub, all the fans spin, but only the 3 fans that came with the case light up. I wonder if it’s because the Hub just can’t handle that many fans? I would like to find a solution that all the fans can light up, and can also be controlled and sync together to have the same effect, which was my original problem and is why I decided to rearrange things from the beginning. Thank you for reading this and any thoughts or help is appreciated greatly.
