Question Am I in need of a CPU upgrade? Thanks

Hi, I recently bought myself a ROG strix rtx 3090 which is all nice, but then I started wondering if my CPU, in a bottleneck/comp ability sense is ruining the experience? Thats why I want to ask you guys of what you think. These are the following specs:
Intel i7-9700KF
32 GB Ram 2666mhz
ASUS rog strix z390-f motherboard
750W Corsair Vengeance PSU
I run a Samsung odyssey g9 (5120x1440) 240hz
Is this a good fit? Or does my system need a upgrade? Thanks in advance.

P.S ive noticed that GPU usage goes below 90% and more in certain heavy areas in New World. But New World is a CPU demanding game i think.

Your ram speed is not doing you any favors. That slow of ram can affect even a 10400, which is not really any faster than what you have now. It could be that game is also wanting more cores/threads, than your current chip can provide. Look at your CPU usage, per core, also.

How old is the PSU in your build? As for your platform, if the RTX3090 is an upgrade to the platform, what were you working with prior to the GPU dropped in?

Your ram speed is not doing you any favors. That slow of ram can affect even a 10400, which is not really any faster than what you have now. It could be that game is also wanting more cores/threads, than your current chip can provide. Look at your CPU usage, per core, also.

Oh thanks for the answer, is faster ram compatible with my motherboard? I’ll check usage asap. Does all the other cores cap themselves to the slowest core?

How old is the PSU in your build? As for your platform, if the RTX3090 is an upgrade to the platform, what were you working with prior to the GPU dropped in?

I have the same mainboard and my RAM is G.Skill RipJaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR4 4000 (PC4-32000) CL18-22-22-42 1.40V Dual Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-4000C18D-32GVK at Amazon.com . It works fine. But you must enable it using XMP profile from the BIOS

and

maybe upgrading to a 850 Watt PSU can make sense, at least a 850 watt GPU is recommended for ROG strix rtx 3090 .

At the resolution you are running games wont really benefit too much from a CPU / platform upgrade. I would do this:

From 2666 to 4000 Mhz, the difference will be noticeable.
