My computer keeps restarting itself over and over..it's really starting to get annoying. I get 4 messages in the event viewer every time:
"AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal I/O port address (0x70), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71 protected address range. This could lead to system instability."
There are 4 of these messages..all the same except each one has different addresses. I've read somewhere that I need to update my BIOS, but I have never done this before and I dont really want to unless I absolutely have to. Is that what is really causing this?
thank you for your time,
Bob
Abit KT7-A motherboard...if it makes any difference
