ASUS P5K-R E7500 help

hi everyone
i just bought myself a new CPU e7500 and ASUS P5KR p35 m/b
i am a AMD big fan since my frist pc 13 years ago
i did some 939 OCing and move on to AM2
i builded one with 945p and PD 805 OCing to 3.7Ghz
i fired my 500W PSU
so i got my TT 430w
and drop the intel back to AMD
the question is

how save is my TT 430w PSU now ?
please advice how to OC my new e7500 to around 3.5Ghz
i edit movies alot most time DivX

there are my hardware list
TT 430w
ASUS P5KR
e7500 @ 2.93 Ghz
2x2Gb RAM Apacer PC2-6400 5-5-5-18
Ati 3850 512GDDR3 with Zalman fan
1 HDD
1 DVD-RW

any advice with the OC ?

go to bios , change the multiplier to the max, set the voltage to manual, change the FSB up 20mhz each time and test if it will work or not, if it fails to boot, UP the voltage for the cpu.

programs you should use to monitor cpu core temps - realtemp, hwmonitor, core temp (any1 is fine)


programs you should use to test for stability - prime95, intelburntest, occt, orthos
(anyone is fine, i prefer runnin prime95 or intelburntest)

your max core temp for ur cpu is 100C, at 3.5ghz you should be around 60C-70C for stock cooling (load temps)
you using stock cooler right? also what case?
and ur PSU is fine.

i got a TT armor mx case
got a big side fan 20cm fan there
keep the mb cool
i did the setting to
3.52Ghz@320*11
with stock cooler temp around mid-50
Vcore 1.336v under auto
set the ram to 800Mhz
hope to see 4Ghz
but i google around looks like it can not hit 400fsb
i did something like 400*10, 400*6
no luck
