[SOLVED] Building new computer. Is this a overkill?

I'm a first time builder, and I need this PC for video editing & 2-d animations. No gaming at all.
This is what i have come with:

I am a YouTuber and I make 10-15 min long videos.

Softwares I Use:
  1. Adobe Premier Pro
  2. Adobe Photoshop
  3. Adobe After Effects
  4. Adobe Flash / Animate
  5. Wondershare Filmora

Purpose: I want to make 1080p to 4K videos. With a smooth experience on the timeline/preview screen of the editing softwares.

I don't want to overspend unnecessary.

My Concerns:
1. Is Gigabyte 1660 OC an overkill for my needs? If yes, other recommendations please.
I am also considering:
a) Sapphire RX 570 4GB
b) Sapphire RX 580 8GB (only $15 cheaper to Gigabyte 1660 OC - in my country.)

2. Power supply Unit
a) Is 650W good or it's tooo much?
b) Is Seasonic M12 Evo 650W a good choice? It is available for around $95 in my country. All other Seasonic series are atleast $150 or above and i will have to import them as well. Still, if i have to i'll do so.

I chose Seasonic as I've seen you guys emphasizing a lot on not to 'cheap out' on psu.
And, M12ii Evo 620W & S12ii 620W - are the only 2 Seasonic products available in my country (as of now).

Other options available are:
  1. Corsair CX Series
  2. Cooler Master MWE Bronze 650W
  3. Cooler Master Masterwatt 750W
  4. Thermaltake SMART PRO RGB 750W Bronze
  5. Thermaltake TR2 S Series
  6. Antec VP 700P
  7. Corsair RM Series RM650W 80+ Gold Certified
Is my pick better?

The S12II/M12II would work, but I would go with the Corsair CX series...

The S12II/M12II would work, but I would go with the Corsair CX series over the SeaSonic M12II. And I would go with the RM Series over either of those.

Thanks for your valuable suggestions.
On your suggestion, i have cancelled my order for Seasonic M12 Evo 620W .

And I did an extensive research on PSUs availability in my country. These are my options:

  1. Corsair TX-M Series 750W Gold: $135 USD
  2. Corsair RM Series 650W Gold: $127 USD (This is Rm 650 and not RM 650x)
  3. Corsair Vengence 650W Silver: $95 USD


Note: It's RM 650 and not RM 650x - (i don't know the difference)

I have seen a recommendation for Corsair Vengence 650W Silver on this thread. Link: https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/corsair-vengeance-650m-is-a-good-psu.3499906/

If Corsair Vengence 650W is a solid choice, I'd like to get this one.

If not, then please suggest the preference order.

Yes, Vengeance is better than CX. I would go with that. Good choice for quality/price balance.

Hi,

Purpose:
I'm building a new Windows pc for content creation (videos for YouTube channel). I'd make 2-d animation & video editing (1080p), 10-15 min in length. And would like to do some 4K videos in future.

NOT for gaming.

Here are some examples for the kind of videos i'd like to make. (sorry, if you find the links annoying)

Software I will use:
  1. Adobe Illustrator

  6. DaVinci Resolve
I want to make a system which can handle all these software and SMOOTH SCRUBBING THROUGH TIMELINE.

As of now, I'll mostly do 1080p stuff. But i want the PC to be capable of 4K editing.
No plans to upgrade for next 2 years atleast. (except for RAM and storage)

Here's my idea for the build:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Mobo: MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX
GPU: Gigabyte 1660 6gb OC
Memory: 16gb (8gb x 2) DDR4 3200
PSU: Corsair RMX 650W 80+ Gold
Storage (OS): 500 GB Samsung EVO SSD
Storage (Files): 1 TB Intel 660p M.2

Q1. Is 1660 enough or should i go for 1660 ti? $60 difference (in India)
Q2. Is 16 Gb RAM enough initially?
Q3. Is this a balanced build or an overkill or under-powered for my needs?

I've kind of hit my budget here. But if need be, i can spend $80-$100 more.

Preferred sites (India): 1. Vedant Computers and 2. MD Comp.
My Budget: In Indian currency, Rs. 85000-90000 (excluding Monitor)

When you say my region where are you located, exactly? We'll also need to know what your preferred site for purchasing parts will be, to understand what you have access to. Otherwise you and the community will be going back and forth with what can and can't be purchased.

Corsair RMX 650W instead of Seasonic m12ii 620W

Okay. So, as per my requirements, there is no need for 1660ti. 1660 is good enough. Right?
