[SOLVED] Can I connect an old monitor to a new GPU?

Ok so I am building a gaming pc and I already have an old monitor. The monitor outputs are VGA and DVI-I. I am planning on buying an rx570, rx580 or gtx1660ti for the gpu.
The gpu's as far as I know have HDMI, displayports and DVI-D display outputs. Is it possible to use that monitor with an adapter and if yes what adapter should I use?

I plan on buying a better monitor in the near future but at the moment I dont really need a better monitor.

DVI-I accepts both digital and analog signals. Just a simple DVI-D cable will work. If you get a graphics card without DVI port then an HDMI to DVI-D cable will also work.

Yes Displayport to DVI works passively.

When talking about cables or adapters, it's source to display as in computer to monitor, not monitor to computer. Because some adapter/cable types aren't Bi-directional. For example, DVI to Displayport requires active adapters.
