Hello friends! I have what I think is coil whine present on my new rig I just built. I believe its coming from my GPU and I have no problems with a little bit of noise but I am worried it will damage the longevity or performance of my card. I am not expert but from what I am aware in 99.99% of cases coil whine is a harmless nuisance and not something to be concerned with aside from the audio being annoying.
In my case it is not tremendously loud or bothersome but some quick reassurance that my 800 dollar card is safe and sound and will be for the foreseeable future would be very appreciated for my anxious little brain. The card appears to be preforming fine and not degrading in quality at all. Another fear is that the coil whine will worsen as time goes on but from what I have read online it would likely get a little quieter over time rather than become louder and more obnoxious
And if you think this is NOT coil whine please let me know, again I am no expert, just a guy 😀

the noise is NOT the fans, it persists even with my GPU fans not spinning at all, could however be the case fans. I did not test with those off.
