[SOLVED] Computer Won't Boot, Need Assistance

Hi all,

I need help figuring out an old computer my brother is using. It stopped working today, and it would only boot to the screen shown below. There are LEDs lit on the motherboard, and I have no idea what they mean. I've tried going into BIOs, or Boot Menu, but none of the options open, it's just forever stuck on the boot screen.

Specs:
Motherboard: Gigabyte x58a-UDR3
GPU: Gigabyte R9 280
CPU: i7 920
Ram: 2x4GB
Power Supply: Thermaltake 750W

Try clearing the CMOS (unplug the power cord and remove the CMOS battery for a minute). If still the same, try testing with single RAM module. Test each RAM.

Tested both the RAM modules and also cleared CMOS. No progression 🙁

If disconnecting all storage and USB drives and starting the board, still same issue?

Nothing changed, the computer just reboots after the boot screen, and it repeats infinitely. Any other solutions, or what those lights mean on the motherboard?

Not sure about those lights, if normal, or not - see if the board's manual says something about it. I would try replacing the CMOS battery with a new one and cleaning and reapplying new thermal paste on the CPU, to rule out a heating issue. Try also testing different power supply. If still no go, it could be a board issue.
