I have Dell Optiplex and I put honestly to much in this machine. It has an SSD, GTX 1650, 2 4gb of DDR3 ram but I need to upgrade the CPU. The CPU is a i3 (don’t remember the specific model) but it’s the one that came with the pc. I’m pretty sure it would bottleneck the GPU. Can anyone recommend me a decent CPU to get. Any suggestions?

FWIW, the K suffix processors will have a higher base and turbo speed compared to the non-K versions.
I7-3770K is currently selling for about $110 used on ebay.

What is the model of the PC? Cannot suggest anything, if we do not know what is compatible. Those 2 cpus, that you listed, are 2 completely different sockets.
I forgot about that my apologies and for the CPUs that I mention I realized that after the conversation model is a Dell Optiplex 3010

Given the computer uses an H61 board, but had a configuration with a 3rd gen Core processor, the best you can do is an i7-3770K or i5-3570K. Though you can't overclock it. Going with an i5-2500K or i7-2600K is also an option, but again, you won't be able to overclock it.

(I'm getting this info from the manual)
Can my board use the non K version of those?
