Question Desktop no longer fits my screen

Hi all,

Have just noticed that my desktop no longer fits my monitor. I have a black bar going up the left, right and top of my screen. Have tried to resize it to fit the screen but Nvidia control panel says that it’s running at 1440p and therefore won’t allow me to. Bottom of the screen lines up perfectly with the bottom of the monitor.

I’m stumped. Any help would be much appreciated! Have added a couple pics below of the issue.

Use DDU to uninstall your GPU drivers, then manually reinstall with the latest drivers(i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator) off of Nvidia's support site, assuming you're indeed working with an Nvidia discrete GPU.

Hey, thanks for the reply. Just did that after your advice and the bars are still there.

Montior is a HP 27xq if it's any use.
