[SOLVED] DisplayPort To HDMI Bad image quality

So I bought a amazon basic's DP to HDMI, I plugged it into my GTX 1060 6GB and the results were really bad.
The Screen can't reach 1920x1080 as it goes off screen as well as the image quality is really bad, it's bland and blurry. Before i had it with a VGA cable but I'm getting a processor soon with no integrated graphics hence I bought it. The current resolution for it to fit is 1080p 1842 x 1036
I also got the latest Nvidia drivers and that didn't help.
Any suggetions?

Sounds like your screen is overscanning. Is it a TV?

What monitor? What inputs does it have?
Why don't you use HDMI-HDMI cable? Your GTX 1060 should have HDMI output.
DVI-HDMI cable also would work.

Yes its a TV, 24" a bootleg 2nd monitor as it was spare

My third monitor is plugged into the HDMI/HDMI port. And the TV doesn't have a DP input.

Probably won't have a way to turn off the overscan then unfortunately, but you can try to look around in the TV menu and go through all the options that have anything to do with "scan" or "fit".
