Question dvi to vga not working

I have AMD 7500 graphics card which has an only DVI port. While my monitor has an only VGA port. So I bought DVI to VGA converter and connected that with my graphics card. It worked but I got a few problems.

1. My Display brightness option is gone. I can't change my display brightness.
2. When I play games, it shows 0% GPU usage but my graphics card is working fine and I have the latest graphics card drivers.

What did I do?

1. I added my games in the graphics setting to work with the graphics card.
2. I disabled my default display driver in the device manager.

I can change the brightness using monitor buttons but please solve my 0% GPU usage problem...

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling your GPU drivers?
