I've just updated upgraded my 1060 to a RX 6700 and its working out pretty well, obviously a big jump in performance.
Its this card: https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer/radeon-rx-6700-10g-gddr6

I am noticing the louder fan noise though when the card is working hard. Plus the 6700 has 2 fans and my 1060 had 1.
I'd say once it hits about 1400rpm it starts getting noticeable (not sure if its purely the rpm, or if its a slight 'whine' at this speed), and it looks like its max is 1800rpm.

I was running it in New World on max settings and getting around 105-120 fps.

I've set it to a quiet profile here:

But should I customise it so that it cant hit 1600rpm, or is that risky?

I've not even looked into the undervolt/overclock side of things.

You can see the temps and wattage it hit here:

I've attached some logging from Adrenalin.

Maybe I should just turn the game volume up! :)

Interestingly, I just ran Doom Eternal at Ultra Nightmare graphic settings, and I got a solid 144 fps, fan barely went above 1200 and hot spot temp barely above 80.
Maybe its a driver thing?
