Hello, I am looking into upgrading up to a 3 monitor setup from 2 monitors. I have 2 basic 24" 1080p 60hz monitors and I would like to get a 27" 1080p 144hz as my main monitor. I am certain on those specifications because that is all my budget can handle so I am trying to decide between the Samsung C27FG73 and the MSI Optix MAG271C (please suggest others if you think there are better ones). I do probably mainly gaming (csgo, R:SS, GTA 5, AC black flag, skyrim ect; a wide range of games really) I also do photo and video editing hence for the reason of choosing a VA panel but if you can justify a monitor with a TN or IPS panel then please do. I also watch quite a bit of youtube and some research too. So I hope you can help me out a bit. Thanks

Regarding MSI monitors, for extra bling (rear RGB LEDs) and height adjustement, you can also look towards MAG271CR,
specs: https://www.msi.com/Monitor/Optix-MAG271CR

With even more bling (front and rear RGB LEDs) and swivel as well, compared to the one above, is offered by MPG27C,
specs: https://www.msi.com/Monitor/Optix-MPG27C

MSI VA panel monitors are one of the best (if not the best) VA panel monitors out there and they do the job perfectly.
I have MSI Optix MAG241CR in use (with rear RGB LEDs) and i love it. While MAG241C is cheaper than MAG241CR, the MAG241C doesn't have height adjustment nor RGB LEDs. Height adjustment was the main reason why i went with MAG241CR after extensive research regarding 24", 1080p, 144Hz gaming monitors. Also, MSI monitors have MSI Gaming OSD software from where you can change all monitor settings without the need to mess around with the joystick control button on the monitor itself. Very convenient in my opinion.

For another choice, AOC C27G1 also falls within your requirements,
