I been thinking of a sig for the team for a while now and finally got around to doing one. This was really the best i could think of for showing off both sides of Tom's. Couldn't represent 1 with out the other right? 😉

Maybe i could do better later but it's a start.

Now if i could only get a better image of with out having the dots in it or looking like this....

For some reason i can make a really nice image but paint seams to compress the quality to make it look ugly.

That's just a little hard to read, but it doesn't hurt my eyes. The blue and red would be good if you can make it so the dots don't show on the blue side.

Well, im just trying to make something that everyone can read. 😉

With it hurtting Mouse monkey eyes, i do really need to change something about that. i cant have a sig that hurts his eyes every time he looks though a thread i've posted in now can i? 😉

Yeah i've just trying to match the color theme of both sites but that doesn't seam to be working too well

Whether it's a bight background with dark letters or vise-versa or going to a black and white theme. Need to experiment for a for a bit.

I also have a global delete option available so I don't have to be blinded more than once 😀 , it's pretty cool and you know I'd never abuse it.

That one worked just fine. It's little Farquar if I'm not mistaken, good on the M60 but couldn't peel a 'nana if his life depended on it.

Well, need another 3rd party inspection.

Practically same thing but different colors for better readablity and better quality (256 color bitmap did the trick.)

You're going to have to scale it down a bit (75 x 400) but the colours are fine, could be a little more flamboyant in fact, just no red/green combo's please.

It's a blue that's bordering on turquoise and as such I pick up on the green rather than the blue.

Well go right ahead.

Probably 100x better than windows paint and you probably have more artistic skills than i do. :lol: I've always had a more of a function over style. Thats why i've been asking for third party view. :lol:

As for the size, i think this is what mousemonkey means

scale it down a bit (75 x 400)

Although i think he was meaning 400 x 75. As 75 x 400 would make it very long. :lol:

Looks good to me, even though it is somewhat hard to read.

I'm too lazy to quote, but since I've got artistic background and photoshop experience I'll give my opinion on aznshinobi's banner posted above.

Judging by what I see, it looks like you've got a plain black background layer, which is fine and it looks good with what I'll refer to as blue lightening, but doesn't go so well with the black text. I am thinking maybe use a shade of gray instead, or perhaps just get more of that blue lightening towards the bottom right corner to brighten it up. The reasons behind that is you need to make the text more eligable, and I think simply increasing it's size a little and pushing that hammer just slightly to the left to create a little more space would do the trick.

You could also try turning the text into a darker shade of gray as seen within the hammer, just eye drop the color right out of it for the text.

It may also be fixable just by messing with some different fonts, find something a little bolder and more eligable.


And on a nonartistic subject, thought I would mention for the first time in a few weeks I've got my Phenom X4 9850 folding.
