Hi all.
One problem started to bother me. When playing fairly demanding games - sharp subsidence of FPS. With what it can be connected - no idea. This problem appeared a long time ago, even on the old processor, I changed it, but it did not go away. I thought it might be a problem in the power supply, I also replaced it with a more powerful one, but to no avail I would be very happy if someone could tell me what to do with this. I will attach a video with resource monitoring.
PC specifications:
CPU : AMD FX-8350 8 core, 4.0 GHz;
GPU : AMD RADEON RX470 4gb
RAM : HyperX furry ddr3 8gb 1600 MHz(two pieces)
power unit : CHIEFTEC 1Area 500w.

PS : I apologize for the crookedly written text, I am a resident of another country and used the places of the translator

what do you mean old processor? there is one older than FX 8350?
as far as I can find CHIEFTEC is not a good psu brand

cpu at 100%. time to get a new system
Before that, there was fx 6350, CHIEFTEC was recommended to me by a friend, in our country, as far as I know, this is considered a pretty good power supply. The problem is that other games also have this problem. The same DOTA 2 - I'm sure that my PC is more than suitable for it, but periodically such subsidence appears there too. Especially as long as there are no lags, the processor load does not even reach 80 percent

Most games depend on the performance of the single master thread.
The advantage that a FX8350 has over a FX6300 is two extra processing threads that go largely unused.
The single thread performance of each processor is about the same and abysmal by today's standards.

If your motherboard is not 990fx, it is likely that the vrm's are overheating causing reduced cpu performance.
